Dismantle the DOE

Sadly, you don’t have to look any further than various social media platforms to validate the reasons the federal DOE needs to be dismantled. The people arguing to keep it are the same people who provide evidence of it’s complete and total failure.

As someone with friends and family who are directly in the thick of it and teaching young minds, it’s imperative that people understand that it is NOT an attack on educators. It’s a long overdue reigning in of bureaucrats.

Before the DOE was created in 1979, American students ranked at the top of the world in education. After decades of federal control, we’re an international joke. The DOE funnels billions into bloated bureaucracies while public schools crumble, teachers quit, and test scores tank.

They push indoctrination under the guise of “equality” while kids graduate without basic math and reading skills. Let’s not forget the DOE curriculum control. Common Core, DEI mandates and gender ideology in classrooms, just to name a few. They hold states hostage with funding and force a push of their agenda, whether parents like it or not. All while pretending the states have the final say.

The DOE also created the college debt crisis by inflating tuition prices with unlimited taxpayer-backed loans.

Abolishing the DOE is about returning power to parents, local communities, and schools that actually educate. The federal government has failed miserably, like with every three letter agency they created. Or, have they actually succeeded in the real agenda after all? The people of this nation need to take back control of our children’s education and removing the federal government is how that’s done.

Class dismissed.
